Whitelist IPs for API Access

You can limit your account to only allow API requests to successfully connect from a specific set of IP Addresses. Limiting IP Address access provides an extra layer of security to your API access ensuring that you will only allow API access from specific locations.
Accessing the API Token Management Page

Log in to Your Account:
- Go to Name.com and log in with your credentials.

Navigate to the API Settings:
- Once logged in, click on your account dropdown at the top right corner.
- From the dropdown menu, select “Account Settings”.

Open the API Settings:
- In the Account Settings menu, find and click on “API Tokens”.
Limiting API Access to a Specific IP Address

Add the Allowed IP Address
- Under the Whitelist IP section enter the IP Address that is allowed.

Save your settings
- Press the "Whitelist IP" button to save your IP Address
You can remove a whitelisted IP address by clicking on the "Trash" icon next to an allowed IP address in the list.
