Step 2: Redirect the domain to your Etsy shop

Now that you have a custom domain name, it’s time to forward it to your Etsy store. We make this incredibly simple at Name.com with our Etsy app. Head to Name.com and choose the Apps link under the Websites tab on the main navigation bar. Scroll down until you find the Etsy app and click Get Started to begin. Note that you must be logged into your Name.com account to continue with setup.

Use the drop-down field to find the custom domain that you’d like to use to direct customers to your Etsy store. Once you’ve selected a domain, a new section will appear below where you can enter your Etsy store information.

Enter your Etsy username into the field and press Complete Setup, and you’re all done.

Step 3: Try our your custom Etsy URL

Try the redirect out for yourself to make sure everything is working properly. Type your custom domain into a browser and press enter—the domain should send you to your Etsy store. URL forwarding is usually a pretty quick process, but occasionally needs a little more time to finish setting up.
